With detailed inventory information, companies will be able to make commercial and logistics decisions with greater accuracy and speed.
Logistics operator Dinet launched its new VITZ (Visibility and Traceability) application, a technological solution that allows customers to view their inventory, the arrival and departure of merchandise, and the route their products travel, among other online services, in real time from their cell phone or computer.
Developed in Peru by Dinet professionals, who understand the information needs and requirements of each client, VITZ has been developed for Android and iOS systems and allows customers to monitor the status of their merchandise and the movements of their products or business lines 24/7.
This mobile application is connected to the Azure cloud, Microsoft's virtual storage service, and also to Dinet's IT platform, allowing customers to monitor the status of their merchandise in real time, accessing it from their cell phone or via the web using only the internet.
In this regard, Dinet's IT Assistant Manager, Jessica Huamán, explained that with this new application, its clients will be able to make faster, real-time commercial and logistics decisions regarding the management and mobilization of their inventories. "VITZ will also allow companies to reduce logistics costs, be more efficient in the distribution and management of their inventories, and verify the movement of their merchandise until it reaches their clients or end consumers," she added.
She also noted that this is just another step in the company's technological development to offer more and better services and announced that other advances would be forthcoming to improve its productivity and that of its clients. "We will continue developing mobile and web solutions for both our operations and our clients. We will also continue creating and migrating application services to the cloud, as this will help us be even more cost-efficient and provide information access anywhere, anytime," she stated.
The new mobile app, for the time being, will not be available on the App Store or Play Store, as it will be shared directly with all our customers and will be a competitive advantage for Dinet exclusively for them.
