Knowledge, interpretation, and application of Standard DS-021-2008 MTC for field inspections.
DinetPerú S.A., a leading logistics operations company for over twenty years, has collaborated with the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Superintendency of Land Transportation of Persons, Cargo, and Goods (SUTRAN) in the training of its transport inspectors. The Hazardous Materials and Waste course was developed and approved by Dinet's Logistics Training Center (CIL) and taught by three specialists from the areas of Fleet Management, Cargo Security, and Hazardous Materials and Waste.
The objective of the course was designed to provide transport inspectors with knowledge of the inspection of cargo classified as hazardous materials, as well as to interpret and apply Standard DS-021-2008 MTC. They were trained in preventive tools to reduce risks in all fleet management systems, stowage methods, and cargo securing. They were also provided with technical information to identify and recognize hazardous materials in accordance with international standards.
DinetPerú is committed, as a leader and specialist in the logistics sector, to sharing its knowledge and best practices with the goal of minimizing accidents on our national road network and making the highways a safe place.
