No to Illegal Fuel Trade on the National Road Network
Dinet Peru's proposal was born after identifying threats to the National Road Network: illegal fuel and lubricant trade; drug trafficking and illegal mining; lack of road safety; and high accident rates due to road conditions.
In response, the firm presented an initiative whose approach is part of its fleet management, which they apply to their transport operations.
"Within this effort, we identified an important threat to the National Road Network we travel on: the large number of locations dedicated to the illegal trade of fuel and lubricants. This directly affects the Peruvian State and communities through tax evasion and, above all, because these are inputs for illegal mining and drug trafficking," explained Jorge Pérez, commercial manager of Dinet Perú.
