Today, we proudly share a new milestone: we are the first logistics operator in Peru to implement drones for warehouse inventory control.
This breakthrough represents a profound change in the way we manage our processes, allowing us to combine flight technology to achieve automatic and accurate scans. This results in a 38% reduction in inventory time per location and a doubling of annual inventory cycles.
The precision provided by this technology enables faster and more accurate decision-making, reducing operational risks — especially in hard-to-reach positions such as high or double-deep rack levels.
In addition, we have created a new technical role: the Certified Drone Pilot, specialized in safe drone operations within warehouse environments.
This project has been led by our Operations, Engineering, and Technology teams, with the strategic support of top management. Beyond improving internal efficiency, it has been well received by our clients, who are already seeing the benefits in time optimization and logistics cost reduction.
Next step: Full process automation
As the next stage, DINET is evaluating the implementation of a pilot program aimed at autonomous drone management for logistics operations in distribution centers.
This advancement will further strengthen precision, autonomy, and efficiency in inventory management, consolidating Dinet as a pioneer of Logistics 4.0 in Peru.
At Dinet, we reaffirm our commitment to innovation, with the firm purpose of delivering technological solutions that raise the standards of logistics.
