The retail sector is one of the potential businesses for the Peruvian logistics firm Dinet, which in recent years has developed a significant client portfolio with large transnational retailers offering solutions for its growth.
Now, given the sector's continued advancement, Dinet's general manager, Luis Miguel Maldonado, explained that the logistics challenges for growth in retail depend on growth support, visibility, cost, timely service, and the omnichannel approach that companies develop.
"The solution we will provide varies depending on the sector we target; not all have similar solutions. Generally, we have to understand the specific characteristics of our clients' sales channels. Then, we develop innovative proposals for the continuous improvement and innovation of their logistics processes," the executive explained.
With the growing demand for logistics services from retailers who have established operations in different cities across Peru, Dinet understands that every logistics operator must reach all parts of Peru to meet market needs.
In this sense, the fast-paced retail market has led to an explosion of orders and delivery channels becoming increasingly common in Peru, which has led to higher customer and consumer expectations. However, logistics operators must be agile and flexible to respond to the needs of current and future businesses.
