DINET WILL ALLOCATE S/25 MILLION TO OPTIMIZE E-COMMERCE SERVICES.
This line of business already contributes 22% of the revenues and, with the injection of capital, sales of that unit would rise by 10%, which in turn will support the growth of the entire company.
Dinet plans to allocate S/ 25 million next year, 10% of its annual revenues, to optimize its services for e-commerce, according to Esteban Vargas, in his first interview as CEO of the Sandoval Group company./p>
Thus, it will invest in the development of its own system for the control and management of the services of this line.
Having grown little by little, it already contributes 22% of the revenues and has 62 clients, most of them boutique businesses.
“What we seek is to have control of all the management of customer orders, from when Dinet receives it until the final delivery,” Vargas explained.
This investment would help Dinet increase sales of its e-commerce services by 10% in 2024, while this year it would grow by 3% compared to 2022.
In addition, the manager expects that it will contribute to the company's sales reaching a single-digit year-on-year growth in 2024 and that this will be "greater than the country's GDP growth."
Performance
As for this year, he estimated that it would close with an advance of between 2.5% and 4% compared to 2022, a complex period in which the company experienced a slight contraction in sales.
The line of services that contributes the most to the company's sales is warehouses, transportation and distribution, which represents 48% of revenue, followed by mining services (24%) and e-commerce.
Regarding the sectors he serves, he pointed out that the retail sector “has contracted a little” due to low sales in department stores, particularly in white and brown goods.
On the other hand, temporary storage services for mining and importing inputs for the agro-industry are those that have grown the most.
“We have many clients who produce basic foodstuffs and who require inputs. These sales are not so affected by the recession because people buy these products no matter what,” he commented.
On the other hand, the executive commented that, to date, they have eight redistribution nodes in Metropolitan Lima and aim to add at least another three in 2024. These are spaces of about 50 m2 that are provided by companies that Dinet subcontracts to provide last mile services.
Also, I say.
Looking outwards.
Destinations. Regarding its possible internationalization, the executive indicated that the company plans to do so in 2026. The countries it has in its sights are those where the Sandoval Group already has a presence: Colombia, Ecuador and Chile.
